Full Name: Dr. Temperance Brennan (born Joy Keenan)
Age: 31
Gender: Female
Date of Birth: June 25
Home: She lives in an expensive apartment. It is simple with clean lines, but it is packed with souvenirs from her trips around the world.
Alignment: Good
Job(s): Forensic Anthropologist/Best-Selling Author
Appearance:
-Facial features ~ square jaw, high cheekbones
-Eye color ~ sapphire blue
-Hair color ~ auburn
-Face shape ~ heart
Clothing: flowy skirts, collared shirts, and always a blue lab coat
Personality: Temperance is very scientific and technical. She doesn't believe in faith and religion, namely because there is no empirical proof that such things are real. She is not very trusting, except with her team and Booth. She typically comes off as harsh and cold.
Beliefs: She has very high morals when it comes to justice and the sort. As previously stated, she is not at all religious. Politically, she is not necessarily a Democrat, (she supports the death penalty), but not necessarily a Republican either.
Fears/Dislikes: Temperance is scared of being left alone again. She doesn't like people who think they can push people around. She didn't used to like Booth's nickname for her, 'Bones,' but now she's used to it.
Likes: She enjoys writing and reading. She likes bagels and coffee for breakfast.
Idiosyncrasies: Since she isn't really into the whole pop culture scene, she often says "I don't know what that means."
Personal possessions: She owns a silver sports car that her publisher gave to her. It has a ding in the door because Booth told her not to park it crooked.
Strengths: She is usually very strong emotionally. Physically, she has been known to harm those that touch her or, really, get too close. :-) (She knows karate, tae kwon doe, etc.)
Weaknesses: Whenever her parents are mentioned or something relating to their disappearance, she closes up and shuts everyone out.
Family: Christine Brennan - Mother (Deceased)
Max Brennan - Father
Russ Brennan - Brother
Grandfather (Deceased)
Two Aunts - (Unknown)
Lover: Pete - Ex
Michael - Ex
David - Ex
Sully - Ex
History: When she was 2 years old her parents changed her name from Joy Keenan to Temperance Brennan, afraid for all of their lives. They were bank robbers and had stolen evidence pertaining to an FBI-related murder from a safety deposit box by accident. Then at Christmas when she was 15, they disappeared. She shut Russ out completely and he eventually gave up on her and put her in the foster system. She bounced from house to house until her grandfather got her out. He died while she was in college. In college she dated her professor, Michael. They split and she ended up with a jerk named Pete. After a messy breakup, she went to Guatemala to identify genocide victims. When she came back, she found the FBI agent she had worked with one time before, Seeley Booth, needed her help. She refused to work with him unless he treated her and her team with more respect. After a bit of blackmail, he agreed. They have become very good friends, and, to Booth, perhaps more. When she met an accountant, David, through an online dating service, he was definitely a bit jealous... She found her father after 15 years and finally came to grips with the fact that she had been basically abandoned. She eventually forgave her father and they have a much better, though tenuous, relationship. She dated an FBI Agent, Sully, for a while, but when he bought a boat and sailed to the Carribean, she decided not to go. Some people think this was because she ccouldn't live a "purposeless life," while others believe it was because of her relationship with Booth.
